NEW ERA FOR HULL FC IN 2025?
When the 2024 season started, it was already confirmed that London Broncos would be the team to go down due to the IMG Grading system, despite earning promotion the season before. However, the season did not go as planned for one. Hull FC only managed to win 3 matches throughout the season – the same number as the relegated London Broncos, however after a gloomy season, there were some positives to take away, like the local talent that was not only brought up to the first team, but also a key part in new coach John Cartright’s plans for the 2025 season.
Having already secured the likes of Zak Hardaker, Ed Chamberlain and incoming new captain Aidan Sezer, Cartright further bolstered the squad with Cade Cust and John Asiata. With a new coach holding the reigns, with a new owner and Richie Myler taking up the Director of Rugby from last season, Hull will be hoping for better fortunes this time around.
